Quick answers to questions you may have.
Yes. All mechanical engineer jobs at J.O.T. Solutions are fully remote. We hire based on technical proficiency and the ability to align with standard project working hours for team coordination. Candidates from any country are welcome to apply.
Yes — always. We need to see the quality of your models, the logic of your assemblies, and the standard of your drawing presentation.
Yes, provided you already have practical preparation. We look for students who have some basic work experience or a strong track record of engineering/academic projects and know how to use professional software.(more inf. here internships )
We offer competitive pay that is in line with the international market.
We offer a stable environment to gain experience in international engineering standards and workflows. Engineers who demonstrate strong results and technical adaptability have the opportunity to grow within our production teams over time, depending on company needs.
Getting started at J.O.T Solutions
A mechanical engineer is the person whose drawings get machined, welded, and assembled into real products. Dimensional accuracy, tolerance logic, and production-ready documentation are not abstract concepts here — they are the difference between a part that fits and a part that gets scrapped. At J.O.T. Solutions, we are not looking for people who can open SolidWorks. We are looking for engineers who think constructively, own their geometry, and take responsibility for every dimension they put on a drawing.
We are growing our mechanical engineering division and opening new mechanical engineer jobs for specialists who want to work on international industrial, manufacturing, and equipment design projects — fully remote, with genuine technical complexity. If you are searching for a mechanical design engineer job that offers real challenges and a clear professional path, this is the right page.
Current Roles: Find Your Fit
Our mechanical engineering department covers a broad range of specializations. Depending on your experience and software proficiency, you may be a strong fit for one of the following roles:
- 3D Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks / Inventor): parametric part and assembly modelling, design-for-manufacture, configuration management, and model preparation for downstream production.
- Mechanical Detailer / CAD Drafter: converting 3D models into fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings, applying GD&T (ASME Y14.5) or ISO tolerancing, and producing complete documentation packages.
- Product Design Engineer: full product development from concept to production-ready documentation — design intent, structural logic, BOM, and technical specifications.
- Mechanical Engineer (CATIA / NX): specialist roles for engineers with experience in complex surface modelling, large assembly structures, or projects adjacent to aerospace and automotive industries.
- Custom Equipment Design Engineer: design of bespoke industrial frames, conveyor systems, non-standard mechanisms, and structural support assemblies for manufacturing clients.
- Junior Mechanical Engineer: entry-level positions for graduates with foundational SolidWorks or Inventor skills and a strong understanding of engineering drawing principles. Explore our internships.
Most of our openings are mechanical engineer jobs remote. We provide all the tools needed for effective distributed work, so your location is not a barrier to joining high-quality international projects.
Who Is This Page For?
This vacancy portal is built for professionals who treat mechanical design as a precision engineering discipline — not just a CAD skill. You will find our listings relevant if:
- You have hands-on 3D design experience: you do not just build geometry — you understand manufacturability, consider assembly sequences, and design parts that can actually be made.
- You know drawing standards: whether ASME Y14 or ISO, you understand that a correctly dimensioned and toleranced drawing is a legal manufacturing document — and you treat it accordingly.
- You value a remote-first environment: at J.O.T. Solutions, remote is not a perk — it is the operating model, with structured task handover, model review, and documentation delivery processes built entirely online.
- You seek international exposure: you are ready to work to international client standards, learn GD&T to ASME or ISO tolerancing conventions, and develop your expertise in a global technical context.
- You take ownership of quality: you are comfortable putting your name on a drawing and standing behind its accuracy, clarity, and production readiness.
Our Selection Process
We have streamlined our hiring process to be as efficient as the projects we design:
- Application Submission: Submit your CV and portfolio. To ensure your application stands out, refer to our CV guide and portfolio guide.
- Technical Interview: A discussion with our MEP Lead regarding your experience with specific systems and Revit workflows.
- Practical Task (Optional): A brief exercise to demonstrate your modeling or calculation skills.
- Final Offer: Once we find a match, we move quickly to onboarding and welcoming you to the team.
