A New Professional Start for Veterans with JOT Solutions

A military man discusses an infrastructure restoration plan at an online meeting in an architectural office.

On June 18, the JOT Solutions team held the first introductory meeting with veterans who registered for our free training program. It was a warm and open online session where we met the participants, explained the training format, discussed opportunities after completing the course, and answered all important questions.

For us, this meeting was more than just an organizational step. It marked the beginning of a new journey for people who want to change careers, learn modern engineering tools, and explore opportunities for remote work.

Free Training for Veterans: Who Is This Program For?

We deeply respect every veteran and are grateful for the opportunity to work, develop educational initiatives, and create new professional opportunities today. For us, this initiative is a way to make a small but sincere contribution: to support veterans in their transition to civilian life, help them gain confidence, and open the door to a new profession.

The program is designed for veterans who want to build a new career in the engineering field.

The training is open both to veterans with technical or engineering backgrounds and to those starting from scratch. The most important requirements are a willingness to learn, grow, and take the first step toward a new professional opportunity.

During the meeting, we explained how the training will be organized, what practical skills participants will gain, and how this knowledge can help them in the future, particularly in the areas of remote work and international projects.

Topics Covered During the Session

During the session, we discussed:

  • how the training program will be organized;
  • which disciplines can be useful for starting a new career;
  • whether it is possible to begin without a technical background;
  • what skills are needed to work with Revit and AutoCAD;
  • what opportunities may become available after completing the training;
  • how to prepare for further professional development.

Participants asked many practical questions about the training format, difficulty level, required software, hands-on practice, CV preparation, portfolio development, and remote work opportunities.

We did our best to answer honestly and clearly: transitioning into a new profession requires time and effort, but it is achievable. Especially when there is support, structure, practical experience, and motivation to keep moving forward.

Why This Matters

The modern engineering industry needs attentive, responsible, and systematic professionals. In BIM, CAD, MEP, and structural design, success depends not only on technical knowledge but also on discipline, logical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to deliver results.

These are qualities that many veterans already possess.

For this reason, the training program can become more than just a course for many participants. It can be a real opportunity to change career paths, gain new skills, and envision a professional future in the modern digital engineering industry.
